This Tempeh Basmati Rice Bowl is 100% vegan and 100% delicious, even if you’re not vegan.
The basmati rice is mixed with quinoa for added protein and flavor. Then we dice our tempeh and saute it with kale and our house-made tomato relish, pickled carrots, and pickled cauliflower and serve it hot.
It’s delicious as is, but you have the option to add some extra fat, protein, and flavor with an avocado or (if you’re not vegan or vegetarian) an egg, chicken, or salmon.
